OFRI sponsors and supports conferences and symposiums that deal with timely forestry topics.

Oregon Woody Biomass Conference

The symposium will inform policy makers and stakeholders of the opportunities, barriers and breakthroughs related to the use of woody biomassas a source for green energy in Oregon. Presenters will discuss the findings of a new OFRI-sponsored woody biomass study and other biomass-related work
Forests, Carbon and Climate Change

This day-and-a-half conference will examine the many contributions forests and wood products make to sequester the atmospheric carbon that plays a significant role in global climate.
Oregon Family Forestlands Symposium

The 2007 Oregon Family Forestlands Symposium is designed to gather and share information about the role of family forestlands and to stimulate dialogue between family forest landowners, the public, conservationists, civic leaders, industrial forest landowners and other Oregonians. The 2007 Oregon Family Forestland Symposium is designed to assist the Committee for Family Forestlands in carrying out its function.
Oregon Forest Cluster Economic Development Strategy Briefing
