OFRI developed A Guide to Oregon's Forest Wildlife for teachers seeking education materials on wildlife habitat to support their science programs. This publication includes photos of wildlife associated with stands of different forest age classes as well as a range map and habitat information for each.
The booklet points out that some species do best in young, open forest stands while others do best in older stands.
