State forester seeks applicants for OFRI Board

Oregon State Forester Decker announced today he is soliciting applications from qualified persons interested in becoming a member of the Oregon Forest Resources Institute Board of Directors. OFRI is a state agency based in Portland dedicated to forestry education.

OFRI earns Project Learning Tree Gold Star award

Project Learning Tree, a program of the American Forest Foundation and the Council for Environmental Education, has awarded the Oregon Forest Resources Institute its Gold Star award at its annual conference held in Montgomery, Texas.

Ray Jones elected OFRI board chair

The Oregon Forest Resources Institute board of directors announced today that Ray Jones has been elected to serve as board chair. Jones has served on OFRI�s board since 2009.
