The OFRI Speakers Bureau was created as an opportunity to bring current forestry topics to civic groups and professional organizations around Oregon . Each of the following presentations can be conducted by an OFRI staff member, or an OFRI trained volunteer. Most presentations have been developed from larger reports that are available for order through our publications list.

This presentation reviews the history of fire in Oregon 's forests. It assesses the causes and effects of forest fires as well as options for reducing the vulnerability of Oregon 's forests to catastrophic fires. This new presentation looks at the relationship between managed forests and the water quality that the majority of Oregon residents depend on. What demands to we place on our water when we consider consumption, fish habitat, power, irrigation, recreation and much more?
